Engineering
Innovation is the heart of our engineering success. Finding ways to rethink old standards and apply new technologies in the most efficient ways is a central part of our philosophy. We involve engineering in the earliest stages of a product's development, which ensures manufacturability and a smooth transition from design to engineering, and from engineering to production. This internal cross-functional involvement allows us to accurately capture the design intent and to release quality-engineered data for production both quickly and cost effectively.
Validation
Our verification and validation processes provide the necessary confirmation of sound engineering principles. We provide a full analysis, validation, and verification analysis. Once the product concept has been developed, Lucidream designs the appropriate protocols to confirm that the final engineering solution will conform to the original specification, including appropriate agency approvals.
The key to producing a product that conforms to the original specification is to develop iterative tests, redesign, rebuild, and retest. This effort begins early in the process, and provides quick and effective iterations leading to a final product solution that ultimately meets the specifications, regulatory requirements and marketing strategy.
Prototyping
We consider prototyping to be an integral and essential part of the development process. Our CA D systems allow direct downloading of computer modeling data for mechanical analysis. Our fully equipped modeling facility also allows us to provide visual/functional models for evaluation, sales samples, and field-testing.
Manufacturing
Lucidream works with a wide variety of manufacturers, providing us with the best possible manufacturing solutions for each step of the process. To ensure that the design intent is maintained throughout the manufacturing process, intensive communication protocols are established. This includes a strong reliance on web-based tools that allow constant and traceable communications.
