Furniture care

Your Lucidream furniture is designed to last a very long time, our furniture designers take great care in designing products that can stand the test time. However, you are responsible for taking care of them, we have compiled a list of furniture care instructions should keep your modern furniture looking modern.

Wood care instructions

For normal cleaning, dust furniture daily with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Wipe dry with a dry, soft cloth in the direction of the wood grain. Once a month, clean the surface with a soft cloth dampened with a quality cleaner formulated for wood furniture. Wipe the surface in the direction of the wood grain to remove dirt and fingerprints. Wipe dry with a clean, dry cloth.

Twice a year, apply a good quality emulsion wax to the Milafin finish with a soft cloth. Emulsion wax is clear and prevents fingerprints. For minor repair of water rings, stains, and scratches, rub the surface lightly in the direction of the wood grain using No. 000 steel wool. Apply a scratch-removing polish with a color and value that simulate the veneer. If the scratches are deep, consult a professional furniture refinisher.

Leather Care instructions

Start with the leather cleaner

1. Shake the bottle well.
2. Sprinkle some of the cleaner onto a sponge the squeeze the sponge until foam appears. Clean the leather using gentle circular movements. D ab any stains or marks, do not rub!
3. Wipe with the cotton cloth. Leave to dry.

Continue with the leather protection

1. Shake the bottle well.
2. Sprinkle some protection cream onto the cloth and rub it into the leather using gentle circular movements. Leave to dry. Give it a gentle final polish if required. D o not rub!
3. Exposed area on furniture that is used daily, such as the armrests and headrests will benefit from being cleaned and protected regularly.

Further advice about leather furniture care

• D o not place your leather furniture too close to a source of heat. Make sure your furniture is about 20-30 cm away from radiators and such.
• Protect your leather furniture from direct sunlight for longer periods of time.
• Vacuum clean your leather furniture regularly with a soft brush and, when necessary, use Leather Cleaner on exposed parts of the furniture such as armrests and headrests.

If an accident occurs and you are unable to remove a mark of stain with leather cleaner, never resort to using strong solvents or chemicals! This may make the problem even worse and the furniture may need to be repaired. Instead, call the shop where you purchased your Lucidream furniture or your interior designer and ask for advice! Glass care instructions

For normal cleaning, use products specifically designed for glass care.

Polished Aluminum care instructions

For normal cleaning, apply a pre-softened paste wax to polished aluminum components following the manufacturer's instructions. In humid atmospheres near salt water, apply the wax once a month. In other areas, apply wax every three months to maintain the appearance of the aluminum.
