Careers: Assistant

We are looking for a hands-on assistant with experience in furniture manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have the ability to use wood and metal working machinery and strong conceptual, mechanical and communication skills.

We are looking for a team player who is creative and can work under minimal supervision. The role involves providing technical support to the Lucidream furniture group. Ability to communicate at all levels; within the company, with customers and with supplier organizations, is essential.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated with a passion for furniture design and development.

Main accountabilities include:

• Providing all aspects of technical support required throughout the manufacturing process
• Preparing and assembling furniture
• Shipping and receiving goods
• Delivering furniture.

Applicant will ideally:

• Have relevant experience in wood and metal work.
• Have some knowledge of design and engineering software.
• Be passionate about learning and teaching.
• A driving license and own car is required.
